7.5T Home Delivery Driver

Pay Rate: £37,881.00 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: AM 0500-0700 Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday Location: Bedford - MK43 9AA DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a 7.5 T Home Delivery Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Starting at 0600 in general on a Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs shift pattern carrying out home delivery to our clients customers.
• Working alongside a drivers mate , carrying out delivery and installation of white goods and furniture carrying out assembly of some furniture , full training given , with very heavy lifting involved.
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• You will hold a valid HGV 7.5 Tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Be physically fit as two person lifting and manual handling involved on a daily basis .
