Full Job Description

All Age Continuing Care also has Integrated Care Board duties to children and young people (Children's Continuing Care), joint packages of health and social care (where an individual is not eligible for Continuing Healthcare but specific needs have been identified through the Decision Support Tool that are beyond the powers of the local authority to meet on its own), personal health budgets, stand-alone health needs, s117 of the Mental Health Act and Specialist Rehabilitation (Acquired Brain Injury).
All Age Continuing Care delivers the patient specific Learning Disabilities and Autism Programme Integrated Care Board responsibilities.
In some areas positions will be within an integrated role with duties across Integrated Commissioning or Local Authorities., To oversee the delivery of the Placements service, ensuring compliance with key
performance indicators for brokerage/placements, including timeliness and value for
money.
Ensuring that the sourcing and purchasing workflow is planned, managed and delivered effectively.
To produce reports on the overall performance, spend and savings achieved by the
placements team.
Prioritise an unpredictable workload and ensure competing priorities are delivered as expected in a timely manner and within the policies and principles of the ICB standards.
To provide operational leadership of the Placement Service Lead Administrator and
administrators, ensuring that that the staff have clearly defined objectives aligned to
those of the All Age Continuing Care team and strategy.
Ensure provision of timely and effective decision-making and oversight to ensure the care of patients is commissioned to deliver the best possible outcome for patients and
financial management for the ICB.
Have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to meet various deadlines., 2. In compliance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, all applicants must be able to communicate fluently in English to an appropriate standard which will be assessed as part of the selection process.
