AAT Tutor

We are looking to recruit an experienced, qualified AAT tutor who can teach across levels 2-4 supporting all learners on a blended learning programme., Buckinghamshire Adult Learning delivers AAT courses to both apprentices and non-apprentice adult learners in Aylesbury and High Wycombe.

You will work as part of a small team delivering to groups of 10 -12 learners on part-time blended learning courses providing 'revision sessions' prior to the learners exams, with some additional sessions where appropriate.

The Skills Development team offer qualifications from Entry Level to GCSE in various subjects, including but not limited to, English, Maths, Digital Skills and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). Within this department is also the LFA (Learning for All) provision where we run courses promoting skills and independence for those adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, and the Community Engagement team who work with job seekers and learners who may not generally access learning, holding courses from CV writing and interview skills to budgeting and confidence building., It is essential that you are able to plan and deliver high quality engaging sessions for all abilities of learners, while maintaining good records of student progress and have a sound knowledge of accounting and in particular the AAT (AQ2022) qualifications.

You must be able to effectively communicate, liaise and work with colleagues to plan, coordinate and deliver quality outcomes.
