These units are designed to enhance patient care and streamline emergency services. Their function is to provide quick, efficient and effective care to patients in urgent need of medical attention.
Same Day Emergency Care: Our SDEC allows patients to be assessed, diagnosed and treated all within the same day, minimizing hospital admissions and ensuring fast, high quality care.
Acute Assessment Unit: currently known as the Emergency Floor, the AAU offers an immediate and thorough evaluation of acutely ill patients, allowing us to quickly identify needs and create an individual plan of care.

You will provide an efficient and, 1. Administrative Support:
+ Manage patient admissions and discharges, ensuring all necessary applications arecompleted accurately and promptly.
+ Maintain patient records and ensure they are up-to-date and accessible to clinical staff.
Communication:
+ Serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, providing information and assistance as needed.
Scheduling and Coordination:
+ Coordinate appointments and schedules for patients, including follow-up visits and tests.
Data Management:
+ Enter and update patient information in electronic health record systems.
Supplies and Inventory Management:
+ Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies, ensuring that the unit is adequately stocked.
+ Place orders for supplies and assist with managing budgets as needed.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:
+ Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient care and data management.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Reception Duties:
+ Greet patients and visitors, assisting them with inquiries and directing them to the appropriate areas.
