Full Job Description

We compete at the highest levels of football on a global stage while embracing our Sussex community spirit. At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to high performance, professional excellence, and making a positive impact. Play a leading role in the club's pursuit of elite local players Located at our state-of-the-art training facility in Lancing, you will play a key role in the operational management and coordination of local and regional recruitment for players aged U6 to U14. You will lead a team of local and regional scouts, ensuring a consistent pipeline of talent for each development centre and pre-academy. This includes making strategic decisions on which players to pursue, devising the best approaches for engagement, and liaising with other football clubs regarding player availability. Additionally, you will focus on building strong relationships with both elite and grassroots clubs within our local area and a 90-minute radius of our training ground. Is this the role for you? You will possess in-depth knowledge of the football industry, particularly the rules and regulations related to player recruitment under EPPP guidelines. The ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritise tasks effectively, and demonstrate excellent database management skills is essential. Ideally, you will also have a robust network of contacts within our academy recruitment catchment area to further enhance player recruitment efforts. Our values are essential to our success Our values serve as guiding principles for how we connect with one another, our fans, partners and sponsors.
