Full Job Description
We are seeking a passionate individual with experience in talent identification to observe and report on assigned academy fixtures. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of academy football and be highly motivated to support the recruitment strategy by identifying high-potential young players.
Other key responsibilities as part of this role include:
Attend Academy Fixtures
Player Reports: Produce detailed and insightful reports on players observed at these academy fixtures
Player Identification: Understand the Everton academy player profiles and identify key traits in players that meet academy standards

Experienced in Football: You have hands-on experience within first team, academy or grassroots football, as a player, coach or scout
Strong Communicator: You effectively engage with a range of stakeholders, from young players and their families to club officials and regional football associations
Organised & Proactive: You can manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and respond quickly to changing priorities
Passionate About Football: You are committed to football development and eager to help create pathways for young talent
Requirements:
Proven experience in a football or community development role
A valid driver's license and access to transportation, as the role involves travel within and possibly outside North Liverpool
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
