Full Job Description

St Antony's College is recruiting for a part-time Accommodation and Conference Coordinator. This is a maternity cover position, and we expect the fixed-term contract to last up to 12 months. Working in a small team, you will provide accommodation and seminar, conference or teaching rooms for students, guests and visitors to the College. You will manage bookings and events to maximise sales, occupancy rate and profit, whilst prioritising the College's academic activities and student life. As the first point of contact for all accommodation-related enquiries, you will ensure enquiries and bookings are managed efficiently and professionally, as well as taking responsibility for accurate and timely invoicing.

To be successful in your application, you will have relevant experience in managing student accommodation or similar facilities. Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to plan and correctly prioritise fluctuating workloads together with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail will be essential. You will need to be highly numerate and have an understanding of financial information, and be able to use IT applications relevant to the post, including spreadsheets, databases and MS forms. Experience of working with accommodation databases (for example KX, Forum, StarREZ, Opera, Fidelio) would be advantageous.

This is a part-time position (21 hours per week plus unpaid breaks). Some flexibility with the working hours will be possible, although you will need to work on Mondays to Fridays. The post- holder will be expected to work during our busy student departure and arrival weekends, which are usually in June and early October.
We offer excellent employee benefits including a full-time equivalent of 41 days' annual leave (including bank/public holidays), free meals in College during normal working hours and when the Hall is open, membership of the University of Oxford's Staff Pension Scheme, and access to a car parking space in the College's grounds if available.
St Antony's College is one of the seven graduate colleges of the University of Oxford. Located in North Oxford, the College is just a 10-minute walk from the city centre and is close to the University Parks, Port Meadow, Jericho and Summertown.
