Full Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a varied and busy role, delivering top-quality accommodation services to our students. We seek a skilled manager with experience in leading teams and providing support and advice to students.
You will oversee the day-to-day management of Accommodation Services, ensuring high levels of customer service for students in halls of residence, university-managed properties, partner halls, homestay accommodations, private rentals, and Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
In this role, you will manage the daily operations of Accommodation Services, maintaining excellent customer service. You will support students with accommodation issues, offering guidance and signposting as needed. Collaborating with the Senior Accommodation Manager, you will plan and complete the annual allocation cycle. Additionally, you will work closely with various customers and external stakeholders to ensure accommodation needs are met.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o The ability to negotiate and handle difficult situations
o A solid knowledge of student accommodation
o Experience managing an accommodation portfolio in a similar or public sector environment
o Strong customer service ethos and a proven ability to work effectively with a diverse range of customers and external stakeholders.
The role is fixed term and based at our Moulsecoomb campus in Brighton, and some weekend work may be required during busy periods. Job sharers welcome.
