Full Job Description

Our accommodation staff work as a team to provide support for vulnerable young people with high needs, making sure they have a safe place to live Job Role As an Accommodation Night Worker, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety of our residents, staff, and premises. Your main duties will include ensuring that designated areas are clean, secure, and safe for all residents. You will assist our Accommodation Project Workers with the admittance of residents and staff, facilitating a smooth and welcoming entry process. Additionally, you will help maintain a peaceful environment by minimising noise and disruption, ensuring that all residents can enjoy a restful night in a supportive atmosphere.

+ Experience working with young people with complex needs, though not necessarily in a housing context. + Ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. + Strong interpersonal and organisational skills. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, particularly during unsociable hours. + Understanding of current mental health issues and experience managing challenging behaviour

    Days and hours Various contracted shifts are available, from 36-40 hours per week, and may include waking nights dependant on the Team you are supporting. Accommodation night shifts are worked on a 4 nights on/4 nights off rotation. Weekends and public holidays are included in the rota. Salary and Benefits Annual salary ranges from £22,258.08 - £24731.20-dependent on hours, setting and role expectation.
