The role is high profile and will involve the handling of sensitive information. The candidate must have utmost integrity in their work and acute attention to detail. The candidate must be willing to potentially be placed through additional security clearances at request of the client. Main duties This role will support a key strategic client for Mitie Intelligence Services and support our client with a growing portfolio of work relating to the public sector. The role is high profile and will involve the handling of sensitive information. The candidate must have utmost integrity in their work and acute attention to detail. The candidate must be willing to potentially be placed through additional security clearances at request of the client. Key roles and responsibilities (not exhaustive) are as follows:
  • To provide project coordination across UK Parliament service lines (SAT, Paladin, Cyber and EP).
  • Support Mitie leadership in delivering on operational objectives and strategic vision.
  • Financial administration.
  • All invoicing creation and tracking.
  • Raising POs for all service lines.
  • Liaise with MSL for all shifts coverage.
  • Monitor subcontractor charging.
  • Attend / manage the financial check in calls.
  • Manage the DocuSign/verification process.
  • Creating PTRs for each new venue booked by MPs.
  • Provide resilience for counterparts.
  • Be on hand to answer any queries from staff, customer & contractors.
  • Conduct cross-training, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement sessions with counterpart.
  • Rostering of all shifts.
  • Upkeep of the tracking documentation
  • Subcontractor work management
  • Upkeep of relationship with field-based colleagues
  • Monitor Assignment Instructions & Risk Assessment.
  • Send confirmations text messages.
  • Providing intelligence to Parliament when MPs are directly affected by upcoming actions
  • Person Specification The successful candidate will have proven work experience within administration environment and understand the security industry. They will need to possess good organisational skills, good time keeping, excellent customer service skills and be able to coach people using varying methodologies. As they will be working across team's, people skills, adaptability, initiative, and ownership are key to the success of the role. Additionally, the successful candidate must be willing to travel as the role may require overnight stays from time to time when supporting key recruitment programs. This role is subject to security clearance. Health and Safety responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities.
  • Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager.
  • Report actual and suspected security incidents
