We are looking for an accomplished Account Director to lead strategic relationships with key corporate accounts in the construction and infrastructure sectors. This senior-level role will involve working closely with stake holders at leadership and director level, developing long-term partnerships that drive business growth and deliver sustainable waste and resource management solutions. You will be instrumental in helping our customers' in shaping their sustainability strategies, driving our circular economy initiatives, and cementing Reconomy's position as a leader in the industry., + Strategic Account Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients senior leadership team and directors, building trusted partnerships and delivering high-value solutions aligned with their business goals and sustainability objectives.
+ Business Growth Acumen: Drive account expansion by identifying opportunities for new services, revenue streams and solutions that support the customers' circular economy and sustainability goals.
+ Consultative Selling: Leverage a deep understanding of the construction and infrastructure sector to provide strategic advice and recommendations, helping clients to reduce waste, increase recycling, and enhance resource efficiency.
+ High-Level Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations to secure multi-year contracts, ensuring mutual value and long-term commitment to Reconomy's services.
+ Performance Management: Monitor account performance, working closely with the individual account managers, delivering detailed reports and insights to senior stakeholders on cost savings, service levels, and environmental impact.
+ Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate with internal teams, including senior leadership, operations, sustainability experts, and marketing, to align on strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement across accounts.

You are a senior professional with significant experience in account management or business development, particularly dealing with C-suite stakeholders. You possess a strategic mindset and a proven track record of delivering growth and sustainability outcomes. You are passionate about creating a positive environmental impact and have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the construction and infrastructure sector., + Experience: Extensive experience in strategic account management or sales at a senior level, with a proven track record of engaging C-suite executives. Industry experience in construction, infrastructure and/or waste management is required.
+ Knowledge: Strong understanding of waste management, circular economy principles, and sustainability trends, with the ability to translate this into strategic advice for clients.
+ Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain high-level relationships.
+ Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans, identify growth opportunities, and drive business results.
+ Education: Degree or professional qualifications in business, environmental science, engineering, or a related field are preferred.
+ Full UK Driving Licence.
