About the Agency As a local agency of NFU Mutual we deliver a first-class service, and sell their product range across our region, to customers old and new, who are at the core of everything we do. This role is an exciting opportunity for anybody who is looking to join a well-respected branch of NFU Mutual, to work within a vibrant and enthusiastic team. About the role As a commercial insurance account handler, you will provide an excellent standard of advice and service to a portfolio of commercial clients. You will primarily work alongside our agents and new business developers in managing client relationships throughout the year and be the first point of contact. This role will be made for you if you are passionate about fostering relationships and helping clients find the right products to suit their needs. You will work independently and manage client requirements within the scope of a busy client book that spans across all business sectors and classes of commercial insurance. This will include client contact over the phone and in-person visits.

We are looking for a results driven, advice-led commercial insurance account handler who has experience servicing good sized commercial clients (£20,000+ premiums). You will be detail orientated, ambitious and be keen to take your career to the next level. This role is busy and challenging, bring your resilience, enthusiasm and energy and you'll be right at home within our team.,

  • Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills
  • An interest in meeting new people and relationship management skills
  • A results driven approach to work, in order to meet targets and deliver results to tight deadlines
  • The ability to analyse and interpret data
  • High attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • Excellent time management skills and self-motivation
  • A driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
  • Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above
