Full Job Description

The Senior Account Manager is in charge of managing SmartStream's relationships with customers, prospects and partners mainly across the US and South America, reporting to the Head of Account Management. They should build long-term relationships with existing customers through a deep understanding of the clients business and find opportunities for SmartStream products and solutions to solve the clients problems..

The role requires a 360 degree view of the client including current projects, strategic planning, sales support, operations and administration, business development and marketing.
Job Responsibilities

  • Identify revenue opportunities among existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities

  • Assist partners in the area, to help keep clients happy, generate sales and provide sales support

  • Operates as the main point of contact for assigned accounts

  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion

  • Communicates client needs and demands to the rest of SmartStream

  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics

  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals

  • Coordinate with other staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service

  • Service multiple clients concurrently, meeting deadlines

  • Keep records of client transactions and prospects via SalesForce.com

  • Meets assigned sales targets & KPI's

  • Qualifications
  • BSc (Honours) Degree in a business or technology discipline

  • Experience
  • Relevant experience within a similar role and within a similar industry desirable
