Full Job Description
We are pleased to offer a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team at our Cobham office. This role is dedicated to managing our portfolio of Bespoke Insurance customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery with a focus on customer retention. You'll also be responsible for cultivating referrals and identifying cross-selling opportunities. As a Bespoke Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs. You'll be responsible for managing our existing portfolio of customers, promoting and selling our Bespoke insurance products and services within our local community (including London), cultivating leads, and achieving sales targets. At the core of our approach lies the cultivation of strong relationships and the practice of cross-selling to ensure our customers receive tailored services that align perfectly with their needs. This commitment is reflected in our exceptional customer retention rate, with over 90% of customers choosing to renew their insurance with us annually. As part of our team, you'll have a remarkable opportunity to capitalise on existing relationships and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Working collaboratively with our current team, you'll not only generate new leads but also navigate through our existing pipeline, engage with the local community through networking activities, and handle all inbound inquiries. These efforts are geared towards retaining and expanding our Bespoke book of business and achieving our growth objectives. To enable you to support all of our customers, we provide a supportive on-going learning environment. All training takes place in our on-site facilities at our Cobham agency. Together with your team, your training will include a mixture of classroom- based and hands-on learning. This role is subject to the requirements of the Insurance Distribution Directive. Role holders will be required to evidence ongoing relevant continuous professional development, along with re-screening to evidence that Good Repute standards are maintained. Further information can be found in the FCA Handbook.
Highly motivated with a positive, can-do attitude, you use your face-to-face customer service experience to ensure all of customers needs are met. Committed to learning and development and ready for the challenge of being part of a new team, you'll thrive in this fast-paced working environment. To apply for this role you must have:
- Experience working within Insurance (ideally within Bespoke/High Net Worth Insurance)
- Experience of working in a face-to-face customer service environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously whilst being proactive and demonstrate initiative
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate difficult conversations and achieve positive outcomes
- Full UK Drivers license (company car provided)
