Account Manager Aon is currently recruiting a Account Manager, to join our team in London. What the day will look like Your main responsibilities as a Account Manager will include:

  • Providing a pro-active approach to ensure efficient handling of our client's needs
  • Liaising with Premium advocates to ensure all premiums are paid on time and organising chasing where appropriate
  • Liaising with Claims advocates to ensure all claims are paid promptly
  • Preparation of Statistics
  • Providing advice to clients and colleagues on the scope of coverage and assist them with the interpretation of clauses
  • Analysing client requirements to identify an appropriate scope of insurance coverage Producing final documentation to confirm coverage to clients
  • Working in partnership with the Account Executive team in the marketing of placing reinsurance, involving communication with clients and reinsurers
  • Populating and maintenance of data within Aon's IT systems.
  • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company
  • Skills and experience that will lead to success Your skills and expertise:
  • Be educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • Have an excellent understanding of the (re)insurance market, or a Chartered member of CII
  • Strong experience in managing effective client relationships
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
