Full Job Description

Leading the delivery of assigned client programmes on time and on budget. The pivotal operational link between internal teams and clients. Drive the development of EPG Health business by delivering efficient and effective programmes, ensuring growth of client accounts. Job duties Programme management:

  • Requirement for a high level of attention of detail within all documents and communications
  • Adherence to 'best practice' and internal processes at all times, both within client accounts and across the company as a whole
  • Ensure programmes are delivered on brief and on time
  • Ensure team understanding of client programme objectives
  • Keeping all stakeholders internally and externally informed of progress with regular updates
  • Involve relevant individuals in team meetings and discussions, to ensure that client business needs are optimally addressed
  • Maintain an overview of programme delivery, ensuring resource is prepared as per timeline, everything is happening to the required brief and standard, within scope
  • Ensure tactical focus of all materials and programmes delivered by EPG Health, reviewing their content when necessary, to consistently meet client needs
  • Troubleshoot challenges and identify solutions in a timely and effective manner
  • Attend client off-site meetings/conferences and take the lead on events as required
  • Responsible for ensuring the wider team is applying compliance rules and regulations to all programmes
  • Monitoring performance of assigned programmes
  • Preparation of programme performance reports and presenting them to clients
  • Financial management:
  • Establish and confirm financial arrangements with client and ensure these are adhered to at all times
  • Maintain awareness of financial status of accounts and ensure this is accurately reported
  • Creating budgets in WorkflowMax
  • Ensure invoices are dispatched on time and in accordance with the programme agreement
  • Approve all programme reconciliations on assigned accounts
  • Client management:
  • Provide regular status updates to the client about ongoing programmes
  • Excellent understanding of medical education and how projects sit strategically within client accounts
  • Understanding of business goals of clients and EPG Health
  • Seek strategic opportunities to expand the business on designated client accounts
  • Sound knowledge of pharma client personnel and their business environment
  • Proactive monitoring of newsfeeds for news relating to current clients, products and therapy areas and regularly review their impact upon programmes and client objectives
  • Business development:
  • Upselling: identifying additional opportunities with existing clients through developing client relationships that add value to client and EPG Health
  • Renewals: excellent programme delivery resulting in client renewals, management of renewal meeting client objectives, WorkflowMax budgets and supporting paperwork
  • Support Account Director with creation of budgets and timelines for proposed programmes

    Bachelor's Degree
  • Four (4) years of related work experience
  • Meeting facilitation, presentation, and training experience
  • Ability to be lead of multiple accounts and programmes to deliver them profitably
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage tasks, workload and priorities
  • Ability to build long-lasting and trusted relationships with customers
  • Awareness and understanding of relevant industry compliance guidelines
  • Understanding of commercial and strategic drivers for clients and EPG Health
  • Ability to adhere to 'best practice' and internal processes
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Ability to deliver revenue targets, grow existing business and ensure annual renewal of contracts
  • Openness to global travel
  • Professional experience:
  • Experience in a similar role in the medical education/communications industry preferred
  • Responsibility for delivery of large projects, either as project or account management
  • Experience with management of clients, Key Opinion Leaders and third-party suppliers
