The Account Manager is expected to deliver the team's mission to forge enduring partnerships by providing exceptional client service. Offering a high level of technical support while demonstrating an understanding of the client's decision making and long-term business objectives. The Account Manager should demonstrate market and product knowledge, playing a key role in the development of innovative new product opportunities. About the role

  • Representing client needs and continuously challenging RLAM to provide better levels of service, which remain at the forefront of industry standards.
  • Demonstrating a high level of technical knowledge of Royal London Asset Management products and investment views, enabling you to discuss solutions with clients, trustees, and consultants.
  • Maintaining knowledge of investment markets and economic issues.
  • Liaising with front and middle office colleagues, compliance, legal and tax departments, and outsourced back-office providers
  • Understanding regulatory requirements, following processes and procedures, maintaining records, and giving due consideration to risk and capital management constraints.

    IMC (or equivalent) qualified or desire to complete within 6 months.
  • Strong investment management and product knowledge.
  • Proven experience in owning client relationships in investment management.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of UK institutional marketplace, including pensions (segregated and pooled), Insurance, multi managers and investment management (including equity and fixed income knowledge), together with experience of dealing with investment consultants.
  • A strong commitment to relationship building.
  • Excellent written and oral articulation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of products and client types.

    We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Strategic Partnership's team within Royal London Asset Management on a permanent basis in London.
  • The Strategic Partnerships team manage the relationship between Royal London Asset Management and Royal London Mutual Insurance Society; our largest client with assets under management of c£100 billion.
