Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic part or fully qualified AAT or equivalent individual to undertake the role of Accountancy Technician, helping to support the Directorate for Adult Social Care and Health, for at least 12 months.
You will report to the Adults Finance Business Partner, with day-to-day support from the team's accountants.

Your role will involve:
The responsibilities of the post will include financial administration tasks, such as raising purchase orders and invoices, processing journals and uploading monthly budget virements. You may also be required to assist with budget monitoring and year end processes.

Candidates desiring part-time hours equivalent to a minimum of 3 days a week will be considered, perhaps to accommodate school times, for example., We require an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with both financial and non-financial colleagues. You will also possess good spreadsheet and analytical skills. An ability to manage your own diary and work to deadlines is also essential.

This is a full-time or part-time, 12 months fixed term role with hybrid working, and a salary of £32,002 per annum., 32 days annual leave
