Full Job Description

  • General administration tasks

  • Bookkeeping duties

  • Preparation of statutory and sole trader accounts

  • Preparing VAT returns

  • Companies House compliance


    • In this role, you will handle source information provided by clients, both in paper and electronic form, to complete the required VAT return or accounts.

    A thorough understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and statutory accounts are essential.

  • Self-motivated and organized with relevant experience in practice

  • Experience with one or more of the following accountancy software packages : FreeAgent, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
