Accounts Assistant

We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the finance team with the day to day running of the department. The role could potentially go permanent for the right candidate.

The role will be responsible providing support sales ledger and purchase ledger as required. Expected sales ledger purchase ledger split at start 80/20.

It is a very exciting time to join BakeAway as we embark on an upgrade to our accounting system, and implementing SAP which will require a level of embedding, therefore the role will not only involve day to day transactional work, but supporting with data cleansing in the near future.

The successful candidate will be able to complete the following:

• Allocating customer payments


• Processing customer debit notes


• Validating and challenge customer deductions


• Sending out customer statements


• Chasing customer debt


• Sending EDI invoices to customers


• Investigating and solving outstanding EDI issues


• Monitoring the accounts Email Inbox


• Liaise with various other departments on approving Sales Invoices
  
  End to end sales ledger understanding for retail customers


• FMCG food manufacturing experience


• Ideally have worked with Microsoft Navision
