Full Job Description

Role: Accounts Assistant - Frasers Property UK Location: South Kensington, London - Hybrid Working available (3 days per week in the office) Salary: Competitive plus generous benefits, An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the Frasers Property UK finance team and play a key role in assisting with the day-to-day Accounts Payable/ Receivable functions.
This role would suit someone who is early in their finance career and seeking to gain invaluable experience in a commercially focused organisation.

It is an exciting time to join the team as we are looking to implement 'best in class' processes and systems.

What you'll be doing as an Accounts Assistant:

  • Reviewing, verifying, and matching invoices.

  • Ensuring purchase invoices are processed and settled on time.

  • Data entry of sales and purchase ledgers into the accounting system.

  • Setting up new accounts for new customers and vendors

  • Auditing and processing employee expenses claims for payment.

  • Posting bank transactions.

  • Monthly bank reconciliations.

  • Aged Debtors/Creditors reporting.

  • Managing the shared accounts mailbox

  • Weekly payment runs.

  • Raising intercompany & customer invoices for Property / Asset management fees, Ad-hoc recharges, etc.

  • Dealing with day-to-day queries from vendors / internal business stakeholders.

  • Assist the Finance Business Partners with various duties such as preparation of monthly management information and treasury reporting.

  • Oversight of the annual ground rent billing process.

    Sound knowledge in Accounts Payable and Receivable practices.

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders (internal & external).

  • Strong knowledge of excel and use of other relevant software (PowerPoint/Word).

  • Sleeves rolled up approach.

  • Happy in the detail whilst understanding the bigger picture.

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity: able to contribute to building best practice systems and processes over time from scratch.

  • Strong team player.

  • Alignment to cultural values: Collaborative, Respectful, Progressive, and Real.

  • A rigorous and methodical approach with an eye for detail.

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
