As a valued member of our Centre of Excellence, you'll play a vital role in supporting our client engagement teams across the UK. Your responsibilities will include: Call and casting: Collaborating closely with client teams to gather necessary financial information and report back any deficiencies in their financial statements. Disclosure Checklists: Conducting meticulous reviews and analysis of financial data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations. Internal client liaison: Communicating effectively with onsite audit teams to provide timely and accurate information., Your primary focus will be reviewing financial statements, playing a key role in ensuring their accuracy and compliance. You'll be involved in various aspects, from identifying calculation errors to verifying disclosures against company law and accounting standards. Your contributions will directly support the audit team in delivering high-quality audits for our clients., Our independent audits help to build trust and confidence, equipping the companies we audit and their stakeholders to make better informed decisions based on meaningful information. Beyond developing essential finance knowledge, you'll gain proficiency in Deloitte's cutting-edge audit tools, including advanced Excel techniques and specialised software. While prior accounting experience isn't mandatory, a genuine interest in financial statements and accounting standards will be highly beneficial., We're seeking eager learners with a drive to become specialists. Full training is provided, but we value initiative and a willingness to go the extra mile. You'll need to be comfortable with numbers and adept at using software to analyse financial data, ensuring accuracy and identifying inconsistencies. As a team player, you'll both receive and provide support, sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative environment. Qualifications: 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths at grade 5/B or above and English grade 4/C. A successful applicant will:
