You will support the supervisors and accounts payable manager to ensure the smooth operation of effective accounts payable function to the business.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days based in the office and two days working from home. During the training period, you will be expected to attend the office five days a week to ensure consistency and a smooth onboarding process.,

  • Processing paper and e-invoices and credits onto the COINS accounting system

  • Arranging approval for payments

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth payment processes

  • Scanning invoice images

  • Dealing with telephone and email queries from suppliers and subcontractors and the wider business

  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving reconciling items

  • Filing and organising paperwork in a timely, efficient, and organised manner

  • Giving administrative support where required


  • About the Central Support team

    Predominately based in our Rugby Head Office, the central support team is made up of many support functions key to the success of the wider business. We partner with the sector and regional business units to provide exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers.

  • Previous experience of Purchase Ledger

  • Good IT skills

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Knowledge of COINS would be an advantage (or other AP Software packages)

  • Attention to detail is key

  • Interpersonal, communication and team-working skills

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal

  • Comfortable and confident working to deadlines
