Full Job Description

This role is ideal for anyone interested in learning the basics of accountancy as they begin their career in Finance. You will report to the Management Accountants team manager and you will work alongside our fantastic team.The role is varied including the responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely processing, approval, payment and reporting on purchase invoices as well as basic accounts tasks that enable the production of the firms Management Accounts.

In return for your high levels of speed, accuracy, and attention to detail, you will receive unrivalled support to develop your skills and experience in a Legal Top 200 law firm, including support for AAT training.

Your main duties will include:

Code and Input invoices for both Wilkin Chapman entities

Process and pay client related invoices for the Debt department

Reconcile supplier statements to the ledger ahead of payments

Assist with the payment of staff expenses

Prepare Prepayments and Accruals for the month end accounting process

Balance prepayments and accruals each month end

Assist other teams in the Finance Department with month end queries
