Full Job Description
We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant who share our Ambitious, Accountable, and Inclusive values, committed to communities and doing the right thing to make a positive difference. This role will be an integral part of the Finance Team, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. You will be confident with building and maintaining relationships with Stakeholders, as well as managing a diverse workload. You will seek to add value and purpose to an array of activities and play a key role in the Team. The candidate should have proven accounts payable experience and have worked on purchase ordering systems. The Accounts Payable Assistant will:
- Assist with all Accounts Payable activities and processes.
- Prepare of Supplier payments via BACS.
- Process approved supplier invoices, credit notes and other sundry payments.
- Work to resolve any internal and external queries.
- Process & reconcile invoices, as well as assist in the month end process.
- Review outstanding Invoices, purchase orders, aged creditor, and disputed items.
- Any other ad hoc duties.

- Permanent Contract
- Group stakeholder pension plan (Eastlight will double, up to 5% of the employee's contribution - Employee 5% + Eastlight 10% = Total 15%)
