Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to work alongside a team of commercial individuals who take pride in their work and always go the extra mile. You will have a good transactional skillset and be confident dealing with suppliers as well as having intermediate to advanced excel skills. Someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment, who has a strong character, able to prioritise their own workload is the type of person that would fit in well to the team.
Responsibilities
· Processing of supplier invoices for several entities
· Conducting regular supplier reconciliations
· Preparing weekly payment runs for approval
· Dealing with internal and external queries
· Reconciling Customer Receipts
· Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
· Supporting the annual audit if required
· Bank Reconciliations
· Be part of transactional services and assist with due diligence
· Assist with Monthly and Quarterly reporting to HMRC
· Ad-hoc duties as instructed and required
· Accounts Payable Experience
· AAT Finalist/Beginner ACCA/CIMA
· Excellent communicator
· Strong team player
· Outstanding attention to detail
· Positive and "can do" attitude
· Strong Excel skills
· Knowledge of HMRC Construction Industry Scheme Preferrable but not essential,
- purchase ledger: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
