In this role, you'll support the Sectional Accounting Manager, taking responsibility for accounts payable processes.You'll ensure invoices and payments are processed with speed and accuracy, acting as the first point of contact for creditors with queries about outstanding invoices. values collaboration and inclusivity.Your ResponsibilitiesInvoice Processing: Ensure timely and accurate entry of supplier invoices, credit notes, and employee expenses in compliance with accounting policies.Payment Management: Process supplier payments and monitor unapproved invoices to guarantee timely payment.Reconciliations: Conduct monthly supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of purchase ledger transactions.Policy & Process Improvement: Contribute to developing and maintaining robust accounting policies, processes, and internal control systems.Audit Support: Assist external auditors by providing required documentation and information on internal processes.Cross-Department Collaboration: Support other teams in adhering to established financial policies and procedures.What You'll NeedEssential Skills & ExperienceProven experience in a similar role.Strong Excel skills.Familiarity with financial control environments and a, solid understanding of
