Full Job Description

which is responsible for the collection of rental income, the postholder will be responsible for the collection of rental income for 1,500 units using internal systems and monitoring levels of rental income. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Monthly reporting and management of
  • levels of arrears
  • Telephone/ Email contacts to progress
  • rent payments and letter follow ups
  • Ensuring internal systems and regularly
  • updated
  • Instructing and following-up legal
  • proceedings
  • Liaising with our customers
  • Monthly review of Bad Debt Write offs
  • Any other duties that maybe requested
  • by the Manager to ensure efficient running of the Department, Commitment.   • Excellent Customer Service & Awareness;
  • previous experience in dealing with the public is essential
  • Financial acumen
  • At least 1 year's previous Credit
  • Control/Accounts Receivable experience
  • Knowledge of the residential property
  • industry
  • Basic understanding of the legal system
  • relevant to credit control - i.e. small claims
  • Previous experience working in finance
  • would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of direct debit system
