Full Job Description
The University of Central Lancashire wishes to recruit an Accounts Receivable Officer to work within the Accounts Receivable team on a part-time basis working Wednesday - Friday. The wider Financial Operations team also includes Accounts Payable, Banking & Treasury and Payroll & Pensions and has responsibility for all financial and transactional operations.
About you:
We are looking for someone with a strong background in Accounts Receivable/Credit Control who is confident on the phone dealing with both inbound queries and outbound chasing. Core responsibilities will include managing and collecting Sponsor ledger balances, administering the monthly Direct Debit collections, managing the instruction of cases to third party debt collection agencies and completing various balance sheet reconciliations for the AR ledger.
The successful candidate will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above. AAT Level 3 is desirable but candidates with other relevant qualifications or who can demonstrate strong in role experience will also be considered., Disability Confident
