Full Job Description

Are V lookups your thing? Do you love complex data and offering support to clients? Then look no further, we have the perfect role for you!

NHS Shared Business Services are looking for an Accounts Receivable & Operational Support Officer to join the well establish, small but mighty team.

You will provide 1st line support to our clients of 3rd party systems, ensuring sufficient knowledge and training of end users using the platforms. Driving a culture of continuous improvement - identifying areas where data could be enriched, processes could be streamlined, or evaluating processes to be automated.

This is a hybrid role, working from home and then travelling into the modern Leeds office for collaborative working and team meetings.

What you'll be doing:

  • Engage with clients & the AR team, focusing on key target dates at Month & Year end

  • Make sure all requests for data creation or amendment are completed to SLA and quality standards.

  • Actively review, supply and improve processes, standard operating procedures and reporting.

  • Provide detailed review and suggest improvements to enrich Client and Customer data sets, ensuring data quality standards are met, and provide reporting by exception where they are not.

  • Support Clients with accessing and processing of data on systems that interface to the SBS Oracle platform.

  • Handle Direct Debit administration tasks in line with the Direct Debit timetable, ensuring all work is completed to the agreed Audit standards, and all required parties are kept updated as necessary.

  • Chip in and drive a continuous improvement culture - challenging and suggesting improvements to process, and detailing these for evaluation via the approved tools (opportunity Statements).

  • What you'll bring:
  • Excellent diary management and organisational skills

  • Ability to work with a variety of internal and external collaborators to support the development and execution of process and service improvements

  • Ability to be analytical and comfortable with data as well as articulate findings to partners

  • Delivery focussed

  • Numerate and able to process complex data sets

  • It would be great if you had:
  • Able to use Microsoft Excel to an advanced level

  • Knowledge of Oracle R12 and / or Oracle Fusion, particularly Order Management, Cash Management, Collections and receipting modules.

  • If you are interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you!

    Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
    Location: Leeds
    Security Clearance Level: DBS
    Internal Recruiter: Chloe
Salary: Up to £27,000 Depending upon experience and development needs
Benefits: 25 days annual leave with the choice to buy extra days, health cash plan, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund

Although this role is advertised as full-time, we believe that flexibility at work can promote work/life balance, increase your motivation, reduce stress and improves performance and productivity. We support different ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements. So, if you're interested and need to work flexibly, we encourage you to apply and talk to us about what might be possible.
