Here at Barnsley College, we have made a commitment to exceptional teaching and learning with the implementation of smaller intervention groups for our GCSE Maths and English delivery. The Foundation Learning department is now seeking a dedicated and dynamic Achievement Mentor to support students with their achievement in Math and English. Our new Achievement Mentor will work with small groups of up to 6 learners at a time establishing what they need to achieve and how to develop their skills and attitudes to be successful. You will help to identify their needs and set targets then work with them to make progress on these targets to help them achieve their qualifications supported by our Curriculum Teams. As an Achievement Mentor you will play a vital role in supporting our student's achievement and contribute to them progressing to further education employment and promising futures. This role would suit a learning professional that is energetic and collaborative in their approach to ensuring attendance and achievement is at its highest
