Full Job Description

The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cutting-edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.
We have an exciting opportunity at our Shena Simon Campus to join our ESOL Department as an Achievement Tutor on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.
As directed by the Head of Department English, maths, and Progress, manage allocated students/groups students, and deliver a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme which ensures the overall academic, pastoral, social and behavioural progress of students is tracked and supported so students achieve outstanding retention, achievement, progress, and progression outcomes.

+ Certificate of education or PGCE.
+ Current and valid industry specialism.
+ Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
+ Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
+ English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
