The purpose of this document is to help prospective team members better understand the role and responsibilities with the position of Media Executive at OpenDoor, WPP's bespoke global operating model for Amazon., We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a Media Executive. This is a Full-time position based in London. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best in class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI. RESPONSIBILITIES The role will involve buying campaigns across all AV or Print/Audio channels for your client(s). Closest to the day-to-day buying and will know your campaigns inside out and pride yourself on the standard of delivery. Will be involved in implementational planning and use OpenDoor tools to support your proposals. Foremost is accuracy and keeping to timelines across all areas.

  • Manages the implementation of campaigns, including campaign planning, optimisation, and reporting, by the strategic objectives of the multi-media plan and with commercial objectives.
  • Delivers high-quality and accurate plans with basic insights and recommendations with accurate reporting or proof of delivery.
  • Demonstrates understanding of the elements of media excellence and applies best practices.
  • Works confidently with planning teams, clients & media partners.
  • Able to interpret data at the planning and reporting stage of campaign management.
  • Demonstrate an interest in the client's media challenges by asking relevant questions and gathering insights.
  • Supports print & audio investment work by compiling client research, competitive data, and relevant frameworks.
  • Understand the process of developing a media plan.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the various media tactics and their typical business outcomes.
  • Follow instructions to meet client needs.
  • Build case studies and gather insights to support media partner selection.
  • Attends relevant meetings to understand product and capabilities/expectations.
  • Learns the metrics to assess the performance of products against client needs/expectations.
  • Develops measures/KPI's to ensure the products continue to perform against client/agencies needs/expectations.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Some media knowledge is desired.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial and commercial tasks prioritising reconciliation and tasks which drive net working capital to the business including a timely resolution of reconciliations and queries.
