Full Job Description

Nexxus Care are recruiting an activities co-ordinator in our residential home in Tamworth. You will be responsible for planning and creating activity plans for all of our residents, to meet their needs and wishes. We are looking for someone who has lots of energy, excellent communication skills and has a genuine passion for meeting our resident's physical, social and emotional needs, with activities such as: Light exercise, puzzles, arts and crafts, sing-a-longs, days out, sensory and lots more!

  • Initiative and creativity - Can you create activity plans to meet everyone's needs, as well as being fun and enjoyable?


  • What we need from you:
  • Desire to provide exceptional support, and individuality to the activity plans

  • Do you have the right to work in the UK with proofs? (i.e. passport, Visa)

  • We'll need to complete a DBS check if you're successful, we will cover the initial cost of this - T&C's apply

  • Provide professional references - We'll need at least 2 reference from you previous employers

  • Complete mandatory e-learning and attend a 1 day classroom based induction held locally - You'll be paid to attend your training, and our training and recruitment team are always available to help
