Activities Coordinator - Fernleigh Court Care & Nursing Home, Bedfordshire MK42 7FY - Part of The Country Court Family DO YOU HAVE CREATIVE FLARE & WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERYDAY? We are looking for an Activities Coordinator with creative flare and out-of-the box thinking to organise, run events and activities for our residents. From pumpkin-carving, to budding gardening, crafts and more - no two days will ever be the same as you support our residents to try new things and ensure they feel connected with the wider community.,
- Organise varied activities within the Home to cater for a variety of interests and life stories for individuals, small groups and large numbers of residents.
- Meet targets set out to improve our resident's lives which includes getting to know every resident through our 'Resident of the Day' programme
- Work together with other local community groups and the wider local area.
- Bring fun, ideas, and energy into our residents' lives! Inspire others through great relationships, to deliver a range of thought-provoking wellbeing ideas
- Coordinate a wide range of trips & experiences within the local area for small groups & individuals
- Arrange key events throughout the year, such as seasonal celebrations & charity events
We are looking for someone who is friendly, welcoming, and entertaining, and would ensure all activities are appropriate for all residents. - An understanding of care sector would be advantageous
- Have a friendly & caring attitude
- Good planning & development skills
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Be proactive, passionate, and supportive team player, with experience of maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
- You will be going out and about, networking, planning activities and with residents therefore having access to your own vehicle with business Insurance is essential YOU MAY HAVE EXPERIENCE AS Entertainment coordinator, wellbeing, lifestyle, wellbeing, drama, social recreation, entertainment executive, events coordinator, care assistant
