Full Job Description

As an Activities Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in creating engaging and stimulating activities that enrich the lives of our residents. You'll foster a vibrant community by organizing imaginative, inclusive, and motivational activities tailored to our residents' interests, abilities, and wellbeing. From crafting creative sessions to planning events and social activities, you'll make a real difference in the daily lives of those you support.,

  • Develop and deliver activity programs to encourage social interaction and promote independence.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and staff.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of activities and adapt to suit residents' needs and preferences.
  • Organize group and one-on-one activities, both within the scheme and in the local community., This role is offered on a 20-hour contract, with potential flexibility to increase hours by assisting with care calls if desired.

    A warm, empathetic, and enthusiastic personality with a creative approach to planning activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to motivate and inspire residents to engage in activities.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required-we'll provide comprehensive training.

    Competitive Pay: £13.15 per hour.
  • Contract Hours: 20 hours per week.
  • 28 days of annual leave (pro rata).
  • Paid for DBS check.
