As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the delivery of exceptional all-round care and support for residents. The role involves devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability, helping to celebrate life and maximize everyone's wellbeing, independence, and social engagement., The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating a range of activities for the residents, both within the home and in the local community. This includes getting to know the residents and their families to create tailored activity programs. The role also requires the ability to drive a minibus. The successful candidate will need to be warm, empathetic, and personable, with strong organizational skills and a driven mindset to ensure activities are engaging and meaningful for the residents.
