Full Job Description

As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables the team to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for the residents. Your role will involve designing and delivering imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of the residents, with the aim of maximizing their wellbeing, independence, and social engagement., In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for getting to know the residents and their families, and then using your excellent organisational skills, creativity, and enthusiasm to devise tailored activity programmes that enrich the lives of the residents. You will inspire both the residents and staff to participate in activities, both within the care home and in the local community. While prior experience in a similar role is desirable, it is not essential, as the organisation will provide you with the necessary training and support to develop your skills and progress your career.
