The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., Co- ordinate and provide a range of therapeutic activities for inpatients on Ward 14.
Use own initiative to plan and structure a timetable of activities, managing own diary, whilst working with the ward team to support patients, as required.
Facilitate communty leave for patients, which include recreational and educational activities., Support the Registered Nurses on Ward 14 to offer and Co- ordinate a range of therapeutic activities for inpatients on Ward 14.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Activity Co-ordinator to join the team at Ward 14, which is a 16 bed mental health ward based at The Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend. Candidates should have experience within the field of Inpatient Mental Health and a patient centered, recovery focused approach to Nursing., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
