Full Job Description

We are pleased to be able to recruit to the post for Activity Coordinator at Rampton High Secure Hospital.

Rampton Hospital is one of 3 national high secure hospitals for people with mental health needs, including the national services for people with learning disabilities, d/Deaf services and Women's services.

As post holder, you will have a key role in supporting patients in daily tasks and meaningful activities, and will be a key link between ward based activities and day units., Work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary teamWork flexibly to support patients in a variety of contexts as per hospital staffing demandsOffer a wide range of ward and day unit based activitiesContribute to the care pathways of male and female patients in high dependency care with complex needs and high-risk behaviours. Act as a positive role model to colleagues and patients.Plan a ward activity programme to engage patients in the Recovery process.Act as a link between the Ward and Therapies teams.
