Are you passionate about working with children and delivering exciting, hands-on activities? We're hiring enthusiastic Activity Leaders to join our dynamic holiday camps in Reading and surrounding areas during the February and Easter half-terms! Camp Dates:

  • February Half-Term: 17th-21st February 2025 (5 days)
  • Easter Half-Term: 7th-11th April 2025 (5 days) and 14th-18th April 2025 (4 days)
  • About Us: At Next Thing Education, we specialize in inspiring the next generation of creators, inventors, and coders through after-school clubs, holiday camps, and workshops. Our camps provide children aged 5-11 with opportunities to explore activities like robotics, app creation, Minecraft, circuitry, and engineering. We focus on developing teamwork, problem-solving, and logical skills while creating a fun and inclusive environment. With camps running in over 170 schools across the South East, we're committed to delivering enriching experiences for children and their families. Role Overview: Activity Leader As an Activity Leader, you'll be responsible for:
  • Supervising a group of up to 15 children aged 5-11.
  • Conducting 3-4 engaging activities per day, including STEM workshops and creative challenges.
  • Creating a positive, fun, and safe environment for all participants.
  • Supporting children in learning new skills while fostering teamwork and creativity.
  • Assisting with setup, clean-up, and daily camp operations.

    Experience Working with Children: Ideal for teachers, childcare professionals, or those with experience in education or camps.
  • Energy and Enthusiasm: A passion for inspiring and engaging young minds.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage schedules and ensure smooth transitions between activities.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with learning and delivering activities involving technology and teamwork.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
