Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to engage young people in meaningful activities that promote structure, purpose and enjoyment to young people admitted to Parkview.
This could be arranging a sports day to promote movement, celebrating a subject of the month or engaging young people in 'The great Parkview Bake off!
The role is a 12month fixed term contract for 37.5 hours per week. The post will involve working evening and weekends .
Main duties of the job
Postholders will contribute to the provision of daily activities, particularly in the afternoons, early evenings and at weekends, for young people admitted to Parkview Clinic.
Activities will be a mixture of ward based, within the hospital facilities and within Parkview grounds, and supporting wider MDT with activity outside of the hospital targeting hard to reach individuals, those who are acutely mentally unwell and those with physical ill health and disabilities.
Activities facilitated will encourage and promote engagement.
