The partnership between Barnet,Enfieldand Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originallyestablishedin 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.

In order tomeet the needs of the new Partnership services you may berequiredfrom time to time to work atdifferent locationsto your normal place of work. This may mean that youare required towork at any location that fall underBarnet,Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to continue the development of Trauma Informed Practice within the psychological provision in these services. The post holder will lead on this initiative with support from senior divisional staff including the Haringey adult psychology lead. You will be based at St. Ann's Hospital where the inpatient wards are accommodated in Blossom Court, a recently built state of the art mental health unit with an adjacent day therapy centre.

The opening of Blossom Court created an opportunity to rethink the clinical model of care of the Urgent Care Service alongside the remodelling of the physical environment. The new clinical model, created following a series of workshops with service users and carers, aims to develop a service with a more systemic and trauma informed approach. Along with senior Urgent Care staff you will be central to the continued development of this model with Trauma Informed Practice at its core. We are proud of the progress we have made in Urgent Care and are keen to maintain and further these accomplishments. Urgent Care Psychology in Haringey benefits from strong relationships with the urgent care pathways across our partnership. The Urgent Care Psychology post provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership and management skills in the coordination of the established team of psychological therapists in the department.

Haringey community services have recently benefitted from the transformation agenda of the NHS Long Term Plan for mental health. This has meant more substantive collaboration and integration between our services and local community organisations with increased funding for posts across both sectors. Trauma Informed Practice is again core to these developments, and you will work with senior staff in the Community Rehabilitation Team to develop and support trauma informed care programmes within the team provision.

This is a great opportunity for the right individual to develop clinical, strategic and managerial leadership skills, and in particular to shape the way in which psychological and psychotherapeutic approaches can be applied within the Urgent Care and Community Rehabilitation settings to improve the overall quality and effectiveness of what is offered.

We would also welcome applicants with the enthusiasm and training needed but whose level of experience may not quite be at the level required for this leadership post. For the right candidate we would consider a developmental appointment in which they work into the full banding over a set period of time and with appropriate support and training from our senior psychology and psychotherapy staff. We are also happy to discuss potential job shares and flexible working arrangements.
