Are you a dietitian ready to take the next career step, but still enjoy working across a number of specialties?

Following successful flexible working arrangements, we have an exciting post available for an enthusiastic dietitian to support the dietetic service, working mainly at the Royal Stoke University Hospital and a day per week at County Hospital

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be covering largely inpatient wards including Neurosurgery, Acute Trauma Rehab Unit as a shared role. You will cover adult acute medicine and respiratory wards.

As a specialist centre for non-invasive ventilation (NIV), we accept patients from across West Midlands for PEG placement under ventilation cover. You will work in collaboration with other dietitians to provide this service and liaise with dietitians in the patient's own locality to facilitate safe and timely discharge.

You will develop and take part in staff teaching, patient education events, student training and support the team in audit and service developments. The post holder will support the Trust with meal observations as part of our Care Excellence framework.
