Full Job Description

Diagnosis and management of in/outpatients
- Management of urgent cases presenting at any time during the week.
- Supervision of junior medical staff and participation in informal and formal teaching.
- There will be opportunities for undertaking research and audit.
- Participation in a 1:9 on-call rota

To see the full range of benefits we offer please see our Moorfields benefits document., This is a one year fixed-term full-time clinical fellowship post with 8 clinical sessions and 2 admin/study sessions. The fellowship includes clinic activity in cataract, urgent care and general ophthalmology, and a specialty service aligned to experience and interest which includes either Cornea or Medical Retina.
They will take part in the diagnosis, management and follow-up of general ophthalmology patients. The clinical sessions will be based at Moorfields' at St Georges Hospital (and if needed Nelson Hospital, Wimbledon or Queen
Mary's Hospital, Roehampton).
