Full Job Description

Are you wanting a new challenge? Do you want to provide admin support for a children's home for children with a disability?

The post is part time working 28 hours each week and there is some flexibility on the days and hours you work. Core office hours are 8.

30 -17.00 Monday to Thursday and 8.30-16.30 on a Friday. This post is part of the flexi time scheme.

Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and highly self-motivated, have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and personal resilience to dealing with challenging people, while maintaining a good sense of humour.

This role would suit an individual who enjoys working with finances as the duties include handling petty cash, reconciliations and reimbursements.

Processing invoices and dealing with purchase card transactions. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential in all areas of work.

Excellent customer care and communication skills are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team and independently using your own initiative.

You will be required to update our social care recording system, deal with general administrative tasks to support managers and other professionals within the service, take minutes for meetings, respond to emails and have the ability to multi-task.

The successful candidate will be familiar with Microsoft office and training will be given for all other applications which are required for the post.

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you are fully aware of all aspects of data protection and confidentiality as you will be working in an environment dealing with extremely sensitive and emotive information on a daily basis, including information relating to the abuse and injuries to children and young people.
