Full Job Description

A vacancy has arisen at Queens Hospital Burton for an Admin assistant to support the team in the Cancer Business Unit.,

  • Answer telephone queries from patients and escalate to the relevant department.

  • Booking patients in and out of the Chemo Suite.

  • Supporting with treatment scheduling ensuring to follow the booking rules.

  • Provide effective communication across all boundaries to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive administration service.

  • Booking / rescheduling appointments

  • Supporting with the timely and accurate typing of clinical correspondence

  • Cover during annual and sick leave.

  • To ensure all enquiries are effectively managed and successfully resolved within a prompt timescales.

  • Awareness and understanding of sensitive information, ensuring strict confidentiality at all times.

    We are looking for a full time, flexible team player to work as an Admin Assistant alongside the Reception, Secretarial and Navigator teams at Queens Hospital Burton. This role is a flexible role with the purpose of supporting the whole team across the Cancer Business Unit.
