As an Admin Assistant at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for providing a high standards of customer service and positive first impressions for all guests visiting the home. About Ashlynn Grange Care Home: Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables. The level of care at Ashlynn Grange is exceptional, and all staff love to keep residents entertained with a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café is available to our residents and their visitors, serving a variety of fresh tea, coffee and cakes daily., Reporting to the Home Admin Manager, the Administration Assistant will be in charge of ensuring the reception area provides a friendly, welcoming and professional image at all times. You will also be in charge of supporting the Home Admin Manager with a variety of administrative tasks, such as; answering enquiries, responding to emails, and postal duties.,

  • Coordinating all front desk activities including answering all incoming calls, providing information for callers, redirecting calls or taking accurate messages ensuring they are passed to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Home Admin Manager with payroll tasks such as setting up new starters, recording absence and annual leave and processing leavers.
  • Support the Home Admin Manager with day-to-day admin tasks ensuring that they are completed with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with enquiry handling, preparing and sending out brochures and responding to and sending emails.

    Previous administrative experience is desirable, as is knowledge of Finance and or HR procedures, however training will be provided for the successful candidate.
  • You will have excellent customer service, communication and IT skills, ideally Microsoft Office, together with an eye for detail.
  • You are confident in handling personal and sensitive data and ensuring it is maintained in a confidential manner, at all times.
  • You are organised, numerate and accurate, with a 'can-do' attitude.
