A day in the life of an Office Administrator

To generally support and assist the work of the Meals Office Team.

To complete general administrative duties, such as responding to emails, answering the telephone, and taking any messages as required, placing internet orders, printing meals rounds sheets, packing meals and cleaning equipment.
Home Visits - carry out home visits to new customers before they begin the service. To introduce our service, discussing payment methods, assisting with form completion and menu choices. Completing the home address risk assessments.
To assist with general administration and Health and Safety of the Unit - involves stock control and planning, cash reconciliation providing support and information to clients and staff.
To also be available for the following duties cooking, cleaning and/or delivery driving duties as required.

Ability to work weekends, times to be confirmed.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Previous experience dealing with people.
Works effectively as a member of a team.
Hardworking, trust worthy and honest.
Works on own initiative.
Key skills in IT and Administration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly and patient personality.
Enthusiastic and motivated.
Full UK Driving Licence
Flexible to take on extra hours where required. Able to work flexibly and prepared to adjust work schedule as and when required.
Has numeracy skills, is completely trustworthy and confident in handling financial and sensitive information.
