Full Job Description

The purpose of this post is to utilise supervise the patient administration and operational systems in the Trust to actively validate, track and manage the referral to treatment processes in a patient's diagnostics pathway. These process steps ensure a smooth and efficient service for patients throughout their treatment by the Trust.
In addition to pathway validation, the role will encompass daily and weekly monitoring to encourage business as usual processes and adherence to real time workflows.

We are looking for an organised individual who has excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate
will be supervising a team of Scheduling and Reception staff, whilst being a part of a wider multidisciplinary team. They will be required to work on the day-to-day duties of scheduling services to meet capacity/demand fluctuations & ensure that service requirements are met & National DM01 targets are adhered to.
The successful candidate will need to be a flexible team player with leadership potential who can multitask
& manage a varied workload to meet set targets & changing deadlines. Attention to detail is key as
they will contribute to ongoing validation work in the department. They must be able to work
within a confidential environment & adhere to Information Governance procedures.
Computer literacy is essential as the successful candidate will be expected to input, extract & compile complex information from different booking & patient tracking systems.
